We work with homeowners and builders alike. Whether you're looking for someone to manage your project from start to finish, or if you're after professionally documented drawings for your self-managed build, we're able to accommodate to suit your needs and budget.

We design all sorts of homes, from single detached dwellings to townhouses and multi-unit dwellings across larger sites. We’ve also designed a range of granny flats and small second dwellings that fully comply with Victorian building regulations. We have extensive experience in particular designing barn style homes and Scandinavian inspired estates. We welcome any and all ideas that inspire your project.

Though the majority of our large custom homes are located in the far northern suburbs such as Wandong, we've completed many new builds and renovations across Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs including Mornington, Narre Warren, Belgrave, Coburg, and Diamond Creek.

There are a range of factors that will determine this - how complex the site is, the size and type of the building, the structural requirements of the design, and the quality of materials and the type of fixtures used to name a few. Each project is different and we understand that budgets can make or break your dream home, which is why we aim to be as transparent as best we can on cost so there are no surprises.

Each council has different conditions that may or may not trigger a planning requirement. Depending on the location of your site, you may be exempt from planning, or be eligible for a VicSmart Planning application. This will also depend on what you are trying to do - sometimes the building itself is compliant, but having to remove a tree for example might trigger a full planning application. Unfortunately the process can take a bit of time! When planning for your build, it's best to allow a few months for a permit to be issued just in case.

Many of our builds are designed across sloping sites. Generally we recommend grading the soil away from your home as the most cost effective option, however this option is completely site dependent - sometimes retaining the site will give you the best outcome overall.

We've completed a range of commercial projects involving factories, warehouses, and offices. We also do renovations and fitouts for commercial spaces such as bars, gyms, and medical suites. We can design and build from concept to occupancy - please contact us for advice about a specific project.
